Revolutionizing EdTech with Robotics
Founded in January 2015 by IIT Bombay alumni Chintan Raikar, Prashant Iyengar, and Sneh Vaswani, Emotix has carved a niche in the robotics and educational technology (EdTech) space. The company designs and develops AI-powered companion robots under the brand Miko, aimed at enhancing learning and engagement among children through interactive play.
So far, Emotix has launched three versions of its flagship product—Miko 1, Miko 2, and Miko 3—each featuring upgraded technology and enhanced interaction capabilities. These robots are powered by artificial intelligence and are designed to engage children in educational conversations, games, and emotional interactions, all while ensuring a safe and controlled environment for digital learning.
Strategic Investment for Global Expansion
The fresh capital injection from AMDG-PAX Foundation marks a pivotal moment in Emotix’s growth journey. With a rapidly expanding global customer base, the company aims to accelerate product development, expand international operations, and enhance AI capabilities in its next-generation robots.
This funding round is also expected to bolster the company’s supply chain, improve customer support, and support the launch of new educational content and features on the Miko platform. It signals growing investor confidence in the intersection of AI, robotics, and education—a space that’s seeing rising demand, especially among digitally native children and tech-savvy parents.
A Promising Future for Miko Robots
Emotix has already made significant strides in global markets, with Miko robots being shipped to over 140 countries. The company continues to collaborate with educators, child psychologists, and technologists to ensure that its robots deliver both fun and meaningful learning experiences.
As the educational landscape evolves and digital learning becomes increasingly mainstream, Emotix’s Miko robots are well-positioned to meet the growing demand for interactive, child-friendly tech solutions. The $151 million funding will not only fuel the company’s innovation but also enable it to scale up and cater to a much larger global audience.
With strong backing from a reputed investor like AMDG-PAX Foundation and a clear vision for the future, Emotix is poised to lead the next wave of AI-driven educational tools designed specifically for children.
