Building Kridha Legal Star to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Every remarkable story begins with a dream. For Prof. Anshu Mahendra, that dream was to create an education system where learning went beyond books and truly prepared individuals for real-world challenges. Today, as the founder of Kridha Legal Star, she has turned that dream into a thriving reality
Raised in Uttar Pradesh, Prof. Anshu understood early on the struggles faced by aspiring professionals, especially those from small towns. Limited resources and lack of exposure often held talented individuals back. She decided to change that narrative, starting with herself.
“When you see a problem clearly, you also see the opportunity to solve it,” says Prof. Anshu.
Armed with degrees in law and commerce and now pursuing a Ph.D., she combined her academic expertise with a passion for creating meaningful impact. Her experience as visiting faculty at Amity University and GD Goenka University reinforced her belief that practical knowledge was missing from traditional curriculums.
The Birth of a Vision
In 2019, Prof. Anshu founded Kridha Legal Star in Sitapur with a mission to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Starting with minimal resources but immense determination, she built a platform that offered practical taxation training, legal services, and real-world learning opportunities.
The firm’s unique training model emphasizes live mentorship, client handling, and case studies. By working on actual cases, students gain confidence and become truly work-ready.
“Our students don’t just learn laws—they learn how to apply them in real situations,” she explains.
Courses are bilingual, offered in Hindi and English, ensuring that language never becomes a barrier to learning. This inclusivity has helped Kridha Legal Star reach students from rural and urban areas alike.
Challenges That Shaped the Journey
The path to success was far from smooth. Prof. Anshu faced financial constraints, skepticism about her vision, and the challenge of balancing multiple roles as a mother, academic, and entrepreneur. Many questioned her decision to prioritize practical education over conventional methods.
Her resilience and belief in her mission kept her moving forward. By embracing digital technology, she scaled her programs nationwide, reaching learners through online training and expanding her impact beyond Sitapur.
A Legacy of Empowerment
Kridha Legal Star’s influence goes beyond education. By fostering entrepreneurship and women empowerment, the firm has helped countless individuals achieve independence and self-confidence. Many alumni have gone on to start their own businesses, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
Prof. Anshu’s efforts have been widely recognized. She has received prestigious awards such as Best Taxation Lawyer 2024, Women of Substance Award, and the honor of being a Josh Talks Speaker. These accolades are milestones in her journey, celebrating her vision and leadership.
Looking Ahead
The future holds even greater possibilities. Prof. Anshu aims to develop a custom-built Learning Management System (LMS) and form university partnerships, integrating practical taxation education into mainstream academic programs. Her ultimate goal is to build a PAN-India training ecosystem that empowers the next generation of legal and taxation professionals.
Words of Wisdom
To aspiring leaders and students, she offers this advice:
“Passion is your starting point, but purpose is what will keep you going. Stay focused, stay consistent, and believe in the difference you can make.”
From a small-town dreamer to a national influencer, Prof. Anshu Mahendra’s story is proof that with determination and vision, one person truly can transform lives. Through Kridha Legal Star, she continues to bridge the gap between education and empowerment, leaving a legacy that will inspire generations to come.
