India’s trucking ecosystem is one of the largest in the world, yet it has long operated without the benefit of structured systems or reliable information. Small fleet owners and single-truck operators, who form the backbone of the industry, often face uncertainty in load access, pricing, and operational support. TrucksUp, founded by Sarthak Elwadhi, was built to address these challenges by creating a technology-led platform that brings visibility, fairness, and efficiency to trucking operations.
Sarthak’s understanding of logistics was shaped through exposure to both Indian and global markets. This experience revealed a critical contrast—while international logistics ecosystems relied heavily on data, digital platforms, and integrated services, India’s trucking sector remained dependent on informal networks and intermediaries. During his college years, this observation became the seed of TrucksUp. He recognised that empowering truck owners with the right information could fundamentally change how the industry functions.
Before formally launching the platform, Sarthak invested significant time on the ground. He travelled extensively, speaking with truck owners and drivers at highways, transport hubs, and loading points. These conversations revealed a recurring challenge. Truckers were not struggling due to lack of demand, but due to lack of visibility. Empty return trips, delayed payments, and fragmented access to services reduced profitability and increased stress.
Launched in 2022, TrucksUp was conceptualised as a unified digital ecosystem designed specifically for truck owners. The platform integrates load discovery with essential services such as FASTag, fuel cards, GPS tracking, insurance, financing, SIM-based tracking, and truck buying and selling. By bringing these services together, TrucksUp reduces dependency on multiple intermediaries and enables truck owners to manage their operations more efficiently.

The platform’s rapid adoption demonstrates its relevance. With over 4 lakh downloads, 45,000+ monthly active users, and collaborations with 21+ value-added service partners, TrucksUp has established a strong presence in India’s logistics technology space. Its solutions help reduce idle time, improve asset utilisation, and create more predictable income streams for small fleet owners.
Entrepreneurship in a traditionally conservative sector presented its own challenges. Convincing truck owners to adopt digital tools required patience, trust-building, and consistent performance. Building a team capable of bridging technology and ground-level logistics was equally demanding. Sarthak addressed these challenges through continuous training, direct involvement, and a strong feedback loop with users.
These experiences shaped his leadership philosophy. Sarthak believes that technology must simplify life for users, not complicate it. TrucksUp’s design prioritises ease of use, accessibility, and relevance. Continuous iteration based on user feedback ensures that the platform evolves alongside the needs of truck owners, rather than imposing unfamiliar systems on them.
Inspiration for Sarthak comes from family values rooted in integrity, discipline, and resilience. Observing these principles in action reinforced his belief that trust is built through consistency, not speed. This belief influences TrucksUp’s long-term strategy, where sustainable growth is prioritised over aggressive expansion.

Looking ahead, TrucksUp aims to become India’s most comprehensive trucking ecosystem. Future plans include driver placement services, roadside assistance, GNSS-enabled FASTag solutions, and end-to-end truck lifecycle management. The vision is to support truck owners at every stage—from securing loads to maintaining and upgrading assets.
Industry recognition through awards such as the International Icons of Excellence Award 2023, Best Brand 2024, and Logistics Shakti 2024 reflects TrucksUp’s growing credibility. For Sarthak Elwadhi, however, success is measured by impact on the ground—when truck owners gain stability, transparency, and control over their businesses.
Through TrucksUp, Sarthak continues to bring structure to India’s trucking backbone, proving that informed decision-making and accessible technology can drive meaningful transformation in even the most traditional industries.
