Finance often intimidates—with its numbers, jargon, and rules that seem designed for insiders. Anurag Agarwal sees it differently. For him, finance is a universal skill, and everyone deserves the chance to master it. At 35, as the founder of Anurag Agarwal Classes, he is redefining how finance is taught—making it clear, relatable, and accessible.
Holding a BCOM, CA, and CFA, Anurag spent eight years in the corporate world, excelling in audit, due diligence, and fundraising. But amid his success, he noticed a troubling pattern—bright minds avoiding finance because no one had broken it down in a way that connected. That insight sparked a bold leap: at 31, he left a lucrative career to teach full-time.

Since 2021, his focus has been CFA coaching, where he turns complex topics like investments, risk management, and ethics into simple, real-world lessons. His sessions are known for clarity, practical relevance, and a touch of humor. “Finance is just another language,” he says. “Once you understand it, you can speak it confidently.”
The journey wasn’t easy—financial uncertainty, adapting to varied student needs, and staying ahead of evolving regulations all tested his patience. But with his wife’s unwavering support and the grounded values of his father—humility, dedication, and hard work—Anurag pushed forward.
He now champions education reform with a focus on practical learning, financial literacy, teacher training, and using technology to reach underserved communities. His advice to aspiring educators: “Know your subject, but know your student better. Teaching isn’t just about delivering knowledge—it’s about inspiring change.”
For Anurag, success isn’t counted in awards but in the students who leave his classes with confidence, clarity, and a new way of looking at finance.
