For founder Sudipta Kesar, English was never simply an academic requirement. Growing up, she immersed herself in English films, songs, and stories. Yet, she also saw firsthand how traditional learning methods left many students unable to express themselves fluently even after years of study. That observation became her calling.
With a Master’s Level Certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the London College of Teachers and Trainers, Sudipta launched her academy in April 2023. Operating as a home-based, self-funded venture, she designed it to be everything conventional classrooms were not—flexible, interactive, and built around real-life communication.
Her classes don’t close with the day’s end; they often start at 8 PM, accommodating professionals who can only learn after work. Lessons are intimate, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s needs. Grammar is taught not as a set of rules to memorize but as a living tool for everyday conversation. “Discipline and consistency are key,” Sudipta reminds her students, “but patience and steady effort win the race.”
Challenges came early. Some learners wanted instant results, underestimating the commitment language mastery requires. Sudipta approached these moments with empathy, remembering her own journey as a learner. She invested in quality tools—pen tablets, cameras, lighting—to ensure online sessions matched the polish of a premium course. Meanwhile, her strong presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Google amplified her reach and credibility.
Her timing proved vital. In an era where poor communication skills have cost many professionals career opportunities, Sudipta’s Academy emerged as a safe space for transformation. The results speak for themselves: students finding their voice, advancing in their careers, and discovering a new sense of confidence.
Recognition soon followed. In 2024, Sudipta was honored with the India Excellence Award for Outstanding Excellence in English Language Education, a milestone that validated her vision and inspired her to think even bigger. Plans are already underway to introduce personality development, public speaking, and accent training, transforming the academy into a comprehensive hub for personal and professional growth.
