Uday Kiran Rajeshuni – Founder, Uday & Snehitha – Designers and Architects

Uday & Snehitha Designers and Architects were founded in 2019 and have been working on several projects in the Warangal town with the USP of original concepts and space utilization. They are among the select few who put solid standards and original ideas to work, are gradually gaining market traction, and all of their clients are genuinely pleased with the homes they have. its area of expertise is residential interiors, and from its beginning, the company has always kept their promises by completing roughly 15 projects annually.

The owner of this design and architecture business, Uday Kiran Rajeshuni, is a man of dreams who has gone to 44 different countries extensively and skillfully incorporates his views and experiences into his ideas and conceptions. He graduated from the Florence Design Academy in Florence, Italy, with a master’s degree in industrial design, and the MIT Institute of Design in Pune, India, with a bachelor’s degree in interior space & equipment design. Additionally, he has received recognition from well-known companies like Heineken, Ricard, the University of Cornell, and others through winning international competitions.

He speaks warmly of his early years and says,

“Since my childhood, I’ve been watching my Civil Engineer dad, plan and draft spaces. There was a time when I was subconsciously doing the same learning from him. As me and my wife Snehitha are into Interior Design, we both started working together and started a firm.”

He is currently providing his clients with amazing designs and intriguing thoughts through his own business, resulting in a steady stream of satisfied clients. They are gradually developing plans to diversify their offers with a view to establishing themselves in more commercial settings, such as design cafés, and restaurants.

His love of interior design propelled him into freelancing, where he and his wife eventually founded their own business.  He was inspired by Mr. Anand Belhe, dean of CEPT University in Ahmedabad. During his time as an intern, he served as his mentor. Uday owes him for all he has learned from him about effective design and production that is simple, easy to use, and long-lasting. Even now, he still has the need to travel to other locations to meet people and engage in interesting conversations about design.

No one achieves success without experiencing certain challenges, ups, and downs. In his early days, Uday went through a similar process. Initially, he worked as a product designer. At first, it wasn’t simple. Although his clients had strong ideas, there wasn’t enough support from neighboring manufacturers, and the scope seemed constrained. His business, which included interior design and merchandise, did well. He gradually became a full-time interior designer as a result. It was also challenging to begin on his own; he had to wait for seasoned draftsmen, 3D modelers, and renderers to join him as freelancers before he excelled. Over the period, his work spoke volumes, and projects came knocking at his door through positive word-of-mouth and a bit of Instagram showcasing.

Uday feels that all his ideas and problem solving abilities are linked to his travel experiences. He shares,

“I have designed a portable science lab for school kids.” It’s a unique concept where science experiments can be performed in classrooms and are portable. It was a lot of fun designing it. Unfortunately, the company didn’t take off as expected, but the project is close to my heart.”

Additionally, he has used eco-friendly materials like lead-free paint and terracotta bricks in all of his designs to follow current trends.

Before leaving, he has some advice for young aspirants: be open to taking on challenges; stay current on industry news, and networking and interactions are extremely helpful in establishing one’s own company.
